Sans titre is thrilled to participate in Hang Over Shanghai, a project that brings contemporary art into dialogue with society and community, suggesting a state of being “hovering above the city”. Amid the city’s bustling schedule and vibrant crowds, it seeks to bring new energy and imagination.

Hang Over Shanghai brings together nine galleries that are actively engaged in the global art scene, each distinguished by their commitment to nurturing groundbreaking artists, conveying an experimental spirit and critical perspective.

This year’s edition of Hang Over Shanghai will be held from November 9 to 16, 2025, at 1929 by Guillaume Galliot, a multi-layered social venue in an iconic historic building at the heart of the city. With multiple events taking place throughout the week, the project dives into the city’s landscape and texture, sparking dialogue and connection in the social fabric. Resonating with the radical changes in the current art industry, it transforms art viewing into a decentralized, shared, and communal experience, inviting viewers to engage with art while wandering, exploring and discovering.

For this edition, Sans titre presents works by Aysha E Arar, Liselor Perez and Agnes Scherer. Aysha E Arar recently opened a major institutional exhibition at CC Strombeek in Belgium, which will travel to the Centre d’art contemporain de la Ferme du Buisson in 2026. Agnes Scherer, whose current exhibition at Sans titre has been widely acclaimed, will inaugurate an exceptional 2026 with institutional projects at Moderna Museet (Stockholm) and the Salzburger Kunstverein (London). Her work is already part of the Long Museum collection in Shanghai. Finally, Liselor Perez, who has just joined the gallery program, is currently presenting a remarkable installation at Église Saint-Eustache in Paris. Her first solo exhibition at Sans titre will take place in spring 2026.
