For its second participation in ART021 Shanghai, Sans titre is pleased to present a dialogue with Aysha E Arar and Zhiliang Jin in the DETOUR sector from November 7 to 10, 2024.
With the theme of Asia and Its Diaspora, this year’s edition is curated by Danielle Shang. It brings together selective works by contemporary artists of Asian descent, highlighting Asian and Asian diasporic artistic practices and examining critical discourses, each through their specific lens.

Aysha E Arar (b. 1993) is a Palestinian artist. She received her BFA with honors from the HaMidrasha Faculty of Arts - Beit Berl College in 2018.
Aysha E Arar has had solo exhibitions at Sans titre, Paris (2024); Dvir Gallery, Tel Aviv, Paris & Brussels (2024 & 2023); 디스위켄드룸 ThisWeekendRoom, Seoul (2024); Beit HaGefen, Haifa (2023); Hayarkon 19, Tel Aviv (2022); Givat Haviva Art Gallery (2021). In October 2025, the artist will have a solo exhibition at CC Strombeek, Grimbergen.

Zhiliang Jin (b. 1995, Wenzhou) lives and works in Guangzhou, China and London, United Kingdom. He graduated in 2022 from the Royal College of Art in London and in 2018 from The Glasgow School of Art.
